Here you will find some of Najwa's private paintings, most of which are views of Palestine. They are a fresh insight into the workings of her books and psyche, each painting a window into a foreign land filled with promise. Najwa concentrates her images around the beautiful scenery that is Palestine, refering to the symbolic olive tree in many of the images as well as well known historic landmarks.

The relationship between these images and the books are in many ways bound by a common goal, to see a country which has been torn apart by war, brought back to its original beauty along with its people.
